Around March I said goodbye to my day job. It was clear after nearly five years as the assistant manager, when the manager position opened up I was past over for the bosses BBQing buddy. Not only was I past over but I would been required to teach my new boss everything in my field, a field in which I had over two decades of experience and expertise. Knowledge which had been a job REQUIREMENT. And when I asked for a raise I was told my new manager would be the one to approve a raise….and then I waited for 4 months…and nothing. Nada. I was good enough to be exploited, but didn’t brown nose enough to be paid fairly.
Anyway, enough about that. Seeing as I no longer have a steady stream of income and a lot of time back on my hands, I decided to try to do some things that I have been wanting to do for a while now. Etsy and my Art are always fun in my life, but I wanted to try something new.
So I’m trying my hand at a few new things. I wanted to make a free game to go along with my ARG. I’m on the final few miles of it now. I hope people find it enjoyable and fun. Well, I gotta get back to it before I end up getting distracted.
