I have been with Etsy for 15 years and I have been wanting to say goodbye to it for quiet some time. I can’t say when exactly it became more a hindrance than a tool for my business, but this past year I had to wonder why I was jumping through all these extra hoops for Etsy AND they wanted an extra 12-15% on top of the 6.5% fee, which does NOT include the credit card processing fees. All the ranting aside, I decided that I’d rather pay a flat fee each month than nearly 20% of my sales each month. Plus I wouldn’t be penalized for not offering free shipping or for using their on-site ads and lets not get started on the run amok resellers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
SO I tore the bandaid off and stitched that wound closed with Shopify. The shop link at the top now takes you to the store.
