The Artist Behind The Studio
April Layman is artisan that resides in San Marcos, Texas and is part of the San Marcos Art League. aLayman creates art in a wide varity of mediums from acrylics, oils, charcoals, to leather and clays. In 2017 aLayman was one of ten artist that was selected by the City of San Marcos to paint a seven foot tall Mermaid Statue. The statue has been on display in the Downtown Square in San Marcos since 2019.
